With the victory, Hayfield improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Triton (Dodge Center, MN) to play the Cobras in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Cobras come into the challenge with a record of 0-8. Triton lost 70-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Maple River (Mapleton, MN)

Next up, the Superlarks play the Schaeffer Academy Lions (Rochester, MN) in a A Section 1 challenge, on Friday, January 6. Grand Meadow will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record.
