Texas High School Basketball - Milby nips Houston Math Science & Tech

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Milby Buffs (Houston, TX) and the visiting Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers (Houston, TX), saw Milby's basketball squad hold off Houston Math Science & Tech by a count of 36-35.

With the victory, Milby upgrades its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Buffs travel to Waltrip (Houston, TX) to play the Rams in a 5A Region III District 19 challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 8-5.

Next up, the Tigers play the Scarborough Spartans (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Houston Math Science & Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 60-5 league loss to Wheatley (Houston, TX).
