The Midland Christian Mustangs basketball team (Midland, TX), was overwhelmed 54-16 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Permian Panthers (Odessa, TX)
The Panthers now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brownfield for a non-league battle on Friday, December 30. Permian will confront a Cubs team coming off a 68-15 non-league win over Jefferson (El Paso, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 8-10.
The Mustangs (6-14) will now prepare for their battle against Crane (Crane, TX). The Cranes come into the non-league battle with a 10-11 record. In their last battle, Crane was overwhelmed by Permian (Odessa, TX), 46-23, in a non-league battle.
