Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA), 46-12 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Clarke County upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Madison County (Madison, VA) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Mountaineers come into the bout with a record of 1-9.

Next up, the Colonels play the Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. James Wood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
