Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) and the visiting South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), saw West Rowan's basketball squad hold off South Rowan by a count of 24-21.

With the victory, West Rowan upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. East Rowan lost 48-37 in their recent non-league challenge against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)

Next up, the Raiders play the Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) in a challenge, on Friday, January 6. South Rowan will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
