The Caldwell Chiefs basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Verona Hillbillies to 46 in the Chiefs league victory on Thursday.
The Chiefs now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbia for a contest on Tuesday, January 3. Caldwell will battle a Cougars team coming off a 58-33 league win over Payne Tech (Newark, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 6-1.
The Hillbillies (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Columbia (Maplewood, NJ). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record.
