The Foothill Tech Dragons (Ventura, CA) basketball nipped the host Nordhoff Rangers (Ojai, CA), 54-51 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Dragons (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Diego (Santa Barbara, CA). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Bishop Diego was tipped by Royal (Simi Valley, CA), 63-57, in a non-league test.
The Rangers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Channel Islands for a test on Wednesday, January 4. Nordhoff will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 71-25 league win over Hueneme (Oxnard, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 6-1.
