The Agawam Brownies (Agawam, MA) basketball knocked off the visiting East Longmeadow Spartans (East Longmeadow, MA), 71-55 in Friday's non-league test.
The Brownies (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Commerce (Springfield, MA). The Red Raiders go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Commerce went down by Pittsfield (Pittsfield, MA), 69-59, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Commerce for a Suburban - South test on Friday, January 5.
