Virginia High School Basketball - Hanover fells Armstrong

Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA), 73-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hanover upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Hawks travel to Collegiate (Richmond, VA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Collegiate won 54-44 in their recent non-league bout against Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Meadowbrook Monarchs (Richmond, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Armstrong will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Monarchs go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 54-44 non-league loss to Collegiate (Richmond, VA).
