St. Michael Catholic Cardinals (Fairhope, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bayshore Christian Eagles (Fairhope, AL), 44-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Michael Catholic upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 15-5. Baldwin County won 59-52 in their recent non-league bout against Gulf Shores (Gulf Shores, AL)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the McIntosh Demons (McIntosh, AL) in a 1A Area 1 bout, on Thursday, January 4. Bayshore Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Demons go into the bout with a 15-2 record after their 69-24 non-league win over Satsuma (Satsuma, AL).
