The Jefferson Davis County Jaguars basketball team (Bassfield, MS), was nudged 72-65 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS)

The Bulldogs now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hattiesburg for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Brandon will meet a Tigers team coming off a 66-56 non-league win over Sumrall (Sumrall, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 14-1.

The Jaguars (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sumrall (Sumrall, MS). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Sumrall was nudged by Hattiesburg (Hattiesburg, MS), 66-56, in a non-league contest.
