The Shenandoah Zeps basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Buckeye Local Panthers to 37 in the Zeps non-league victory on Friday.

The Zeps now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Catholic Central for a Ohio Valley AA contest on Saturday, December 30. Shenandoah will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 76-44 non-league loss to Bishop Rosecrans (Zanesville, OH). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-4.

The Panthers (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against River (Hannibal, OH). The Pilots come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, River was defeated by Olentangy (Lewis Center, OH), 60-33, in a non-league contest.
