Texas High School Basketball - Burges knocked off by Midland Legacy

December 29, 2023: Midland, TX 79707

The Midland Legacy Rebels basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Burges Mustangs to 45 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rebels now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pebble Hills for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Midland Legacy will battle a Spartans team coming off a 54-40 non-league win over Midland (Midland, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 12-6.

The Mustangs (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Matadors enter the non-league contest with a 6-10 record.
