Campbell County Camels (Alexandria, KY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY), 69-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Campbell County upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Camels host North Oldham (Goshen, KY) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 10-2. North Oldham won 70-58 in their recent non-league bout against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY)

Next up, the Royals play the Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Mason County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Bearcats come into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 70-58 non-league loss to North Oldham (Goshen, KY).
