East Butler Tigers (Brainard, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cedar Bluffs Wildcats (Cedar Bluffs, NE), 50-11 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Butler upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to David City (David City, NE) to play the Scouts in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Scouts go into the bout with a record of 5-3. David City won 48-35 in their recent non-league bout against Palmyra (Palmyra, NE)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Mead Raiders (Mead, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Cedar Bluffs will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 53-42 non-league loss to Archbishop Bergan (Fremont, NE).
