New Mexico High School Basketball - Clovis thwarts Eldorado

The Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM) basketball knocked off the visiting Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM), 75-59 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Tascosa (Amarillo, TX). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 16-6 record.
The Golden Eagles now own a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Atrisco Heritage Academy for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Eldorado will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 56-55 non-league loss to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-2.
