North Carolina High School Basketball - Manteo topples Columbia

In Friday's non-league outing, the Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) basketball squad beat the host Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, NC), by a count of 70-52.

The Redskins (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Nighthawks go into the 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal outing with a 3-7 record. In their last outing, First Flight was topped by Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC), 71-65, in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats now hold a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Southside for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 4. Columbia will clash with a Seahawks squad coming off a 92-34 non-league loss to Croatan (Newport, NC). The Seahawks record now stands at 1-10.
