In their next game, the Wildcats face the Central Cougars (West Helena, AR) in a 3A Region 6 game, on Tuesday, January 2. Episcopal will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 6-10 record after their 78-62 non-league loss to Brinkley (Brinkley, AR).

With the defeat, Crossett moves to 5-11 on the year. The Eagles travel to Hamburg (Hamburg, AR) to face the Lions in a 4A Region 8 game on Tuesday, January 2. The Lions enter the game with a record of 6-6. Hamburg lost 64-55 in their recent non-league game against McGehee (McGehee, AR)
