The Firebaugh Eagles basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Reedley Pirates to 48 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Bakersfield for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Firebaugh will battle a Blades team coming off a 58-53 non-league win over Madera South (Madera, CA). The Blades record now stands at 6-7.
The Pirates (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Madera South (Madera, CA). The Stallions enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Madera South was nudged by East Bakersfield (Bakersfield, CA), 58-53, in a non-league contest.
