Sacramento Waldorf Waves (Fair Oaks, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Foresthill Wildfires (Foresthill, CA), 45-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sacramento Waldorf upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Waves travel to Forest Lake Christian (Auburn, CA) to play the Falcons in a Central Valley California League bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 2-7. Forest Lake Christian lost 59-49 in their recent league bout against Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning (Nevada City, CA)

Next up, the Wildfires play the Futures Knights (Sacramento, CA) in a Central Valley California League bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Foresthill will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 78-28 league win over Delta (Clarksburg, CA).
