Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Fountain Inn Fury (Fountain Inn, SC) and the host Travelers Rest Devildogs (Travelers Rest, SC), saw Fountain Inn's basketball squad hold off Travelers Rest by a tally of 64-62.

With the victory, Fountain Inn improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Fury travel to Wren (Piedmont, SC) to confront the Hurricanes in a AAA Region 2 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 9-4.

Next up, the Devildogs confront the Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) in a AAA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Travelers Rest will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record.
