With the victory, Frost upgrades its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Polar Bears host Aquilla (Aquilla, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Aquilla won 76-31 in their recent league challenge against Gholson (Waco, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Eustace Bulldogs (Eustace, TX) in a 3A Region III District 18 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Rice will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 52-51 non-league loss to Slocum (Elkhart, TX).
