With the win, Gaston upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Coosa Christian (Gadsden, AL) to clash with the Conquerors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Conquerors go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Coosa Christian won 62-48 in their recent league bout against Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, AL)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Glencoe Yellowjackets (Glencoe, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Southside will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 69-64 non-league win over Moody (Moody, AL).
