The Eagles (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Alvarado (Alvarado, TX). The Indians come into the 4A Region II District 10 challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, Alvarado toppled Early (Early, TX), 47-32, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Goats play the Teague Lions (Teague, TX) in a 3A Region III District 20 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Groesbeck will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record.
