Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL) and the visiting Hall Red Devils (Spring Valley, IL), saw Marquette's basketball squad knock off Hall by a count of 68-57.

With the victory, Marquette upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to St. Bede (Peru, IL) to play the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 2-11. St. Bede lost 64-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Newman Central Catholic Comets (Sterling, IL) in a Three Rivers - East challenge, on Friday, January 5. Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record.
