In Friday's non-league outing, the Passaic Valley Hornets (Little Falls, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Hasbrouck Heights Aviators (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ), by a margin of 53-23.

The Hornets (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ). The Indians go into the Big North - Independence outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Wayne Valley was trounced by West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ), 43-40, in a non-league outing.

The Aviators now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Wallington for a North Jersey - Division 5 outing on Friday, January 5.
