Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Jefferson City Jays (Jefferson City, MO), 56-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Helias upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Battle (Columbia, MO) to play the Spartans in a Central Missouri bout on Friday, January 5. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 9-2. Battle won 63-49 in their recent non-league bout against North Kansas City (North Kansas City, MO)

Next up, the Jays play the Lutheran Cougars (St. Peters, MO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 11. Jefferson City will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
