Jemez Valley Warriors (Jemez Pueblo, NM) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors (Cuba, NM), 44-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jemez Valley upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Warriors travel to Monument Valley (Monument Valley, UT) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Monument Valley won 70-34 in their recent non-league bout against Northwest (Shiprock, NM)

Next up, the Dine Warriors play the Northwest Falcons (Shiprock, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Tse' Yi' Gai will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 70-34 non-league loss to Monument Valley (Monument Valley, UT).
