Illinois High School Basketball - Triad can't hold off MacArthur

The MacArthur Generals basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Triad Knights to 45 in the Generals non-league victory on Friday.

The Generals now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Normal West for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. MacArthur will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 72-64 non-league loss to Pekin (Pekin, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-10.

The Knights (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Jersey (Jerseyville, IL). The Panthers come into the Mississippi Valley contest with a 5-10 record.
