Arkansas High School Basketball - Mayflower can't hold off Maumelle Charter

The Maumelle Charter Falcons basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Mayflower Eagles to 48 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.
The Falcons now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Danville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Maumelle Charter will battle a Little Johns team coming off a 55-41 non-league loss to Hector (Hector, AR). The Little Johns record now stands at 7-10.
The Eagles (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Central Arkansas Christian (North Little Rock, AR). The Mustangs enter the 3A Region 5 contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Central Arkansas Christian nudged Valley Springs (Valley Springs, AR), 60-30, in a non-league battle.
