Mississippi High School Basketball - South Pike can't hold off McComb

The McComb Tigers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting South Pike Eagles to 57 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richland for a 4A Region 6 contest on Tuesday, January 2. McComb will battle a Rangers team coming off a 86-52 non-league loss to Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS). The Rangers record now stands at 6-10.

The Eagles (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Wesson (Wesson, MS). The Cobras come into the 3A Region 7 contest with a 3-11 record.
