The West Lauderdale Knights (Collinsville, MS) basketball nipped the host Pelahatchie Chiefs (Pelahatchie, MS), 67-60 in Friday's non-league test.
The Knights (14-2) will now prepare for their test against Leake County (Walnut Grove, MS). The Gators go into the non-league test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Leake County was tipped by North Pike (Summit, MS), 66-64, in a non-league test.
The Chiefs now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Andrew's Episcopal for a 2A Region 6 test on Friday, January 5.
