In Friday's league outing, the Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN) basketball squad edged the visiting St. Charles Fighting Saints (St. Charles, MN), by a count of 79-74.
The Panthers (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Lake City (Lake City, MN). The Tigers go into the AA Section 1 outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Lake City held off Winona (Winona, MN), 63-39, in a non-league outing.
