The Wisdom Pioneers basketball team (St. Agatha, ME), was overwhelmed 63-29 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Southern Aroostook Warriors (Dyer Brook, ME)

The Warriors now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stearns for a D North battle on Tuesday, January 2. Southern Aroostook will confront a Minutemen team coming off a 44-33 non-league loss to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME). The Minutemen record now stands at 2-5.

The Pioneers (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Van Buren (Van Buren, ME). The Crusaders come into the D North battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Van Buren was overwhelmed by Washburn (Washburn, ME), 53-38, in a league battle.
