Tennessee High School Basketball - Union County crushes Washburn

Union County Patriots (Maynardville, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Washburn Pirates (Washburn, TN), 65-30 in a non-league game.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Hancock County Indians (Sneedville, TN) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 8. Union County will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record.

With the defeat, Washburn moves to 3-8 on the year. The Pirates host Cherokee (Rogersville, TN) to face the Chiefs in a non-league game on Friday, January 5. The Chiefs enter the game with a record of 4-6.
