The Laguna Beach Breakers basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Beckman Patriots to 49 in the Breakers non-league victory on Friday.

The Breakers now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Los Alamitos for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Laguna Beach will battle a Griffins team coming off a 72-57 non-league loss to Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 1-2.

The Patriots (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cerritos (Cerritos, CA). The Dons come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Cerritos triumphed over California (Whittier, CA), 41-27, in a non-league contest.
