Butler Aviators (Vandalia, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sidney Yellowjackets (Sidney, OH), 38-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Butler upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Aviators travel to Stebbins (Riverside, OH) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Sidney will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
