Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV), 46-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Galena upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Sierra Lutheran won 41-38 in their recent non-league bout against North Valleys (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Lancers clash with the Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. McQueen will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 51-45 non-league win over Churchill County (Fallon, NV).
