With the win, Phil Campbell upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Bobcats host Danville (Danville, AL) to clash with the Hawks in a 3A Area 15 bout on Friday, January 5. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 8-11.

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the East Lawrence Eagles (Trinity, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Addison will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 53-31 non-league win over Danville (Danville, AL).
