Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX) and the host Hull-Daisetta Bobcats (Daisetta, TX), saw Anahuac's basketball squad wallop Hull-Daisetta by a tally of 71-32.

The Panthers now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Chambers for a 3A Region III District 22 contest on Tuesday, January 2. Anahuac will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 53-22 non-league win over Jasper (Jasper, TX). The Buccaneers record now stands at 16-3.

The Bobcats (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against West Hardin (Saratoga, TX). The Oilers come into the 2A Region IV District 25 contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, West Hardin triumphed over Diboll (Diboll, TX), 86-21, in a non-league contest.
