The Clackamas Cavaliers (Clackamas, OR) basketball nipped the visiting Benson Tech Techmen (Portland, OR), 69-64 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Monarchs go into the non-league test with a 9-0 record. In their last test, Archbishop Mitty got by Camas (Camas, WA), 77-45, in a non-league test.
The Techmen now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Cleveland for a 6A Portland test on Tuesday, January 2. Benson Tech will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 51-49 non-league win over Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR). The Warriors record now stands at 4-4.
