The San Antonio Christian Lions (San Antonio, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Blanco Panthers (Blanco, TX), 49-40 in Friday's non-league test.

The Lions (11-4) will now prepare for their test against St. Joseph Academy (Brownsville, TX). The Bloodhounds go into the TAPPS 5A District 4 test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, St. Joseph Academy notched a victory over Rivera (Brownsville, TX), 37-35, in a non-league test.

The Panthers now own a 9-13 record. They play next when they travel to Randolph for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. Blanco will encounter a Ro-Hawks squad coming off a 41-28 non-league win over Lutheran (San Antonio, TX). The Ro-Hawks record now stands at 11-13.
