Homer Pelicans (Homer, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bossier Bearkats (Bossier City, LA), 45-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Homer upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Pelicans host Northwood (Shreveport, LA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 13-8. Northwood won 68-47 in their recent non-league bout against Minden (Minden, LA)

Next up, the Bearkats clash with the Plain Dealing Lions (Plain Dealing, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Bossier will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record.
