North Carolina High School Basketball - Bunker Hill falls to Newton-Conover

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Newton-Conover Red Devils basketball team scored a good 52-39 triumph over the Bunker Hill Bears.

In their next game, the Red Devils meet the Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) in a 2A Catawba Valley match, on Friday, January 5. Newton-Conover will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Wolves enter the match with a 3-8 record after their 76-52 non-league loss to Forestview (Gastonia, NC).

With the defeat, Bunker Hill moves to 3-8 on the year. The Bears host West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC) to meet the Warriors in a 2A Catawba Valley match on Friday, January 5. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 0-9. West Caldwell lost 61-19 in their recent non-league match against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC)
