The Leander Lions basketball team (Leander, TX), was overwhelmed 62-12 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX)
The Bulldogs now possess a 19-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marble Falls for a 4A Region III District 24 battle on Friday, January 5.
The Lions (8-14) will now prepare for their battle against Glenn (Leander, TX). The Grizzlies come into the 5A Region IV District 25 battle with a 21-1 record. In their last battle, Glenn trounced Round Rock (Round Rock, TX), 43-24, in a non-league battle.
