In Friday's non-league outing, the Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Carroll Bulldogs (Monroe, LA), by a margin of 55-19.
The Lions (13-10) will now prepare for their outing against West Monroe (West Monroe, LA). The Rebels go into the 5A District 2 outing with a 9-8 record.
The Bulldogs now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Rayville for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 9. Carroll will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 42-8 non-league loss to Winnfield (Winnfield, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-7.
