Texas High School Basketball - Douglass can't hold off Chapel Hill

The Chapel Hill Red Devils basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Douglass Indians to 35 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Friday.
The Red Devils now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winona for a 3A Region II District 13 contest on Tuesday, January 2. Chapel Hill will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 82-3 league loss to Mineola (Mineola, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-4.
The Indians (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Alto (Alto, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the 2A Region III District 22 contest with a 0-6 record.
