Texas High School Basketball - Coppell can't hold off Memorial

The Memorial Warriors basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Coppell Cowboys to 52 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Independence for a 5A Region II District 10 contest on Tuesday, January 2. Memorial will battle a Knights team coming off a 49-14 league loss to Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX). The Knights record now stands at 0-15.
The Cowboys (16-11) will now prepare for their contest against Hebron (Carrollton, TX). The Hawks enter the 6A Region I District 6 contest with a 17-2 record. In their last contest, Hebron was nudged by Conway (Conway, AR), 59-52, in a non-league contest.
