In Friday's league outing, the Dover-Eyota Eagles (Eyota, MN) basketball squad edged the host Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN), by a count of 58-53.
The Eagles (13-1) will now prepare for their outing against Caledonia (Caledonia, MN). The Warriors go into the AA Section 1 outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Caledonia was tipped by West Salem (West Salem, WI), 60-48, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now hold a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lewiston-Altura for a AA Section 1 outing on Saturday, December 30. Lake City will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 56-42 non-league loss to Waseca (Waseca, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-7.
