Dunmore Bucks (Dunmore, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA), 42-11 in a league bout.

With the win, Dunmore upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bucks host Mid Valley (Throop, PA) to play the Spartans in a Lackawanna 3 bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Mid Valley won 52-33 in their recent non-league bout against Lakeland (Jermyn, PA)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA) in a Lackawanna 3 bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Holy Cross will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 54-30 non-league loss to Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA).
